DeAndre Lipscomb is principal consultant and owner of Triple D Consulting, LLC. He has an extensive background as an executive strategist with over 25 years of communications, marketing, and community outreach leadership experience in healthcare and financial services. DeAndre most recently served as a Chief Diversity and Inclusion Officer in the mortgage finance industry. He holds certifications as a diversity professional through the National Diversity Council, in reputation management from the Public Relations Society of America and corporate citizenship management from the Carroll School of Management at Boston College.
DeAndre has contributed to corporate social responsibility and diversity strategy initiatives in leadership roles at Health Alliance Plan of Michigan, Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan, Lake Trust Credit Union and Homepoint Financial.
His impact in communications, marketing, community outreach and philanthropy for various organizations led to the growth and expansion of health care coverage in underrepresented communities throughout Michigan, over $1 million in scholarships awarded to high school seniors, returning students and those pursuing a skilled trade, keeping small business owners operable during the height of the Covid-19 pandemic through crowdfunding, and higher employee retention and lower attrition rates through the creation of DEI and corporate social responsibility strategies
DeAndre earned a bachelor’s degree from Wayne State University’s honors journalism program and a master’s degree in administration with a focus in leadership from Central Michigan University. He is an advocate for lifelong learning and professional development.
When he’s not working you can find him traveling to learn more about how geography plays a role in shaping who we are, catching a new art exhibit, play, nodding and swaying to live jazz and old school R&B or enjoying other forms of creative arts.
